A beautiful trek along the Cedar River and Indian Creek, the l is just over 7 miles of mostly level, primarily crushed limestone surface. This trail is popular with cyclists as well as cross country skiers and horseback riders. The was designated Iowa’s first National Recreation Trail in 1975 and is maintained by the Cedar Rapids Parks Department.
Beginning on the north end, the trail follows Indian Creek through deeply forested landscape. Stop in to see the while you’re on the trail and learn more about the area or experience one of their activities.
