A ten foot wide loop trail around Oskaloosa, the trail also includes University Park in Mahaska County, making it convenient to student life. The scenery may surprise you, however, because not only do you get a flavor of the city, but you will also experience scenic woodlands, farm fields, city parks, golf courses and more.

The three trail heads include restrooms, water and parking; one is located at Edmundson Park on 11th Avenue West and the other is located at Bobzilla’s Bicycle Werks at 1718 Pella Avenue, in case riders are in need of accessories or a repair or even a bike. The third trailhead was donated by the local Rotary Club and has parking, bike rack and gazebo but no restrooms or running water. Look for this trail head near the Highway 92 overpass.
