Duck Creek Recreational Trail, sometimes referred to as Duck Creek Parkway Trial, travels through a city in the Quad Cities region of eastern Iowa and western Illinois. An important transportation hub along the banks of the Mississippi River, the Quad Cities are also known for live music, festivals, food and fantastic breweries.

Beginning in Emeis Park and Golf Course on Davenport’s far west side, the trail follows along Duck Creek heading east and features plenty of access via trail spurs to city parks and neighborhood streets. The larger parks along the way are Junge Park and Garfield Park, both equipped with baseball fields, picnic tables and playgrounds.

Once riders have passed under I-74, they notice the abundance of wildlife and waterfowl. Expect some well marked road crossings with trail signals along this route. Be on the lookout for directional signs to the Mississippi River Trail, which is a short trip down South Kensington Street.
