The Sioux City River Trail System links four trails in the Sioux City Area and spans for over 12 miles. Featuring spectacular views of the area’s rivers, the River’s Edge Gateway 2000 Trail begins at Riverside Park, which is a facility that houses the Siouxland Youth Sports Complex and the Riverside Family Aquatic Center.

Riders will follow the Missouri River to Dakota Point, where Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota meet. This trail ends at Larsen Park and joins the Riverfront Trail at the Sgt. Floyd River Museum and Welcome Center.

Travel from Chris Larsen Park through the downtown area of Sioux City, which becomes the Perry Creek Trail and winds north, following the scenic creek. The Floyd River Trail completes the network and eventually joins existing trails south of the city and into Nebraska.
